CEOs rank Texas the best state for doing business via Dallas Business Journal

Texas has been ranked the best state to do business for the eighth year in a row, according to Chief Executive magazine’s annual Best & Worst States Survey.

Florida rose to the No. 2 rank, while North Carolina fell to third. Tennessee held steady at the No. 4 slot, while Indiana rose to the fifth-place slot.

CEOs named California, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts and Michigan the worst states to do business.
