Monthly Review of Texas Economy, December 2011 via Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University

Texas gained 227,800 nonfarm jobs from November 2010 to November 2011, an annual growth rate of 2.2 percent compared with 1.2 percent for the United States. The state's nongovernment sector added 292,700 jobs, an annual growth rate of 3.4 percent compared with 1.7 percent for the nation's private sector.
