D-FW Apartment Rents are Heading Higher

DFW apartment rents are heading higher, but this generally applies to the higher class properties. Average rents on the upper class apartments have increased about 4% year/year. That is the biggest increase since the 1990s.


Many of the lower class B or C have yet to see the rate of increases of the upper end of the market. Many of the properties in the workforce housing segment are still utilizing move in specials and other rent concessions to push occupancy. To see the full story, click on the link below.
